A one-year old girl, was playing in front of her home in Phelan the other evening when a Toyota truck struck her. She was taken by helicopter to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
What a terrible incident; this little girl was playing in her own driveway. My heart goes out to the girl’s family on this tragic loss. The Sheriff’s department and California Highway Patrol are investigating to determine what caused the truck driver to come onto the driveway and kill this little girl.
I urge the family to contact an experienced Personal Injury attorney; they may be able to file a wrongful death lawsuit.
