A Sig Alert was issued after a tractor-trailer hauling sheetrock slammed into the trailer of another truck, splitting open the trailer and spilling all of the sheetrock onto the slow lane – blocking traffic in that lane.
The California Highway Patrol reported that at least one person was injured.

Many commuters were late for work the other day when a big-rig accident in Montclair caused a traffic nightmare on Interstate 10.
It began when a driver of a passenger vehicle lost control for unknown reasons and crashed into the big-rig. The big-rig driver swerved to the left of the road and crashed into another vehicle, causing both vehicles to slam into the center divider. The impact caused the big-rig’s diesel tank to rupture, causing the semi to catch on fire. It took firefighters over an hour to extinguish the flames.
The rig-rig driver and one of the other drivers were taken by air to nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Crews used a crane to upright the big-rig while Hazmat personnel cleaned up the spilled fuel on the ground.
If you are injured in an accident caused by another person, contact an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who will investigate the case to determine if you are entitled to compensation for your injuries and expenses.

Reports indicate that a vehicle traveling on the westbound side of Interstate 10 in Montclair struck a big-rig truck late the other night, causing the truck to hit the center divider, spill diesel fuel onto the freeway and then burst into flames.
It appears that the driver lost control of his vehicle before hitting the big-rig. An innocent bystander stopped and pulled the big-rig driver out of the truck. The trucker and one of the other drivers involved were taken by air to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The fiery accident caused the lanes in both directions to be closed for several hours. The accident is under investigation.

A 47-year old Hesperia man died when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to roll off the road and overturn.
Hesperia’s Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating this fatal accident to determine what caused the man’s vehicle to overturn. They are checking to see if a part or design defect in the truck caused this accident – some are not even detected until it is too late.
If it is determined that there was a defective part in this truck, the manufacturer may be held liable for this man’s death and the family could file a wrongful death lawsuit against them.
If you’ve been injured or you’ve lost someone in an accident that was caused by a design defect, contact a San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who has handled other auto accident claims against manufacturers.

A trucker involved in a chain-reaction accident on Interstate 15 last year will begin a nine-month jail sentence this month after pleading guilty to four misdemeanor counts of vehicular manslaughter.
The accident took place when an SUV with a family of four was stuck between two tractor-trailer trucks in stop-and-go traffic. The crash caused one of the trucks and the SUV to be engulfed in flames, killing the entire family.
The trucker said the crash happened so quickly; he had no time to do anything to avoid it due to the freeway construction all around him. He stated that he was not on his cell phone and he was not on drugs. He suffered burns to his hands, arm and face while trying to save one of the passengers of the SUV.
If a family member is killed in an accident as a result of a negligent driver, contact an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who will investigate your case to determine if you are entitled to file a wrongful death lawsuit and receive compensation for your loss and expenses.

When an individual is involved in a car accident, he or she could be seriously injured. Just imagine the outcome when that individual is involved in a truck accident that weighs more than ten times the amount of an automobile. Did you know that there is a truck accident every 20 minutes or less in the United States?
The amount of truck accidents in California is on the rise. Companies are hiring drivers that are overworked or exhausted from long hauls. There are cases when trucking companies do not have the money to make sure the trucks are in good working conditions and a driver will leave with faulty parts in his or her truck.
Are you aware that some truckers work over 12 hours a day? Some take drugs to stay awake, which can cause them to lose control of the vehicle.
If you are involved in an accident with a truck, contact a San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who has been successful in truck-related accidents to see if you are entitled to compensation for your injuries, damages and expenses.

A 53-year old big-rig driver from Adelanto was killed when his truck hit a concrete pillar on Highway 99 in Fresno recently.
A 41-year old passenger suffered minor injuries. Investigators are trying to determine what caused this man’s death; it appears he did not die from injuries sustained from the accident.
The impact caused a fuel tank on the big-rig to rupture and leak fuel on the shoulder of the road. The road was closed for more than two hours while the fuel was cleaned up.
If you are a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in an accident and you are injured, you would be wise to contact an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who will determine if you are entitled to compensation for your injuries and medical

The weekend did not begin very well for two bicyclists out for a ride with their bicycle club in Apple Valley.
The two were hit by a mirror from a truck, causing them to fall off their bikes; the truck kept going – never stopped to see what happened or to help.
One of the bikers sustained major road rash; his bike’s frame was broken. The other biker suffered a concussion. Officers wanted to airlift him to a local hospital but because of foggy conditions, he was taken by ambulance. His ribs and shoulder were x-rayed.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the accident and looking for a dark-colored truck with damage to its right side. They are asking any witnesses to call them. California law requires anyone involved in an accident to stop.
I suggest the victims contact an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney. Accidents involving bicycles usually come down to negligence on the part of the biker or the driver that hit him or her. Hopefully, the police will find the trucker who left the scene.
