A 20-year old man driving on Interstate 15 over the weekend in San Bernardino lost control of his vehicle.

The accident happened early Sunday morning while he was exiting the freeway.  He struck the back side of a fire truck, which was stopped on the shoulder of the off ramp after attending to an earlier accident.  Even though the truck had its emergency flashing lights on, the man still crashed into it, causing a firefighter to sustain minor injuries.

If you have been injured in an accident caused by the careless actions of another person, you may want to consider taking action against the at-fault person.  Contact a knowledgeable attorney who will be able to help you understand your options and clear up any misconceptions you may have about personal injury cases.

San Bernardino freeway accidents often result in catastrophic injuries because of the speed of the vehicles involved.  Many accidents are caused by fast-moving vehicles veering out of control; rear-end crashes, head-on collisions, and big-rig trucks traveling all over the freeway.

Some of the most common traffic violations that cause freeway accidents include:

·     Drunk driving

·     Speeding

·     Reckless driving

·     Unsafe lane changes

·     Following too closely

If you have suffered a loss in a San Bernardino freeway accident, you would be well-advised to seek legal guidance from a skilled San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney regarding your legal rights and options – an attorney who will hold the at-fault driver accountable for damages such as medical bills, past and future suffering, lost wages, etc.

Riding a motorcycle is more difficult than driving a car because of the fact that you are only on two wheels and have nothing to protect you in case of an accident.  Riding a motorcycle becomes even more difficult when you have to deal with adverse conditions, such as heavy rain.

Back in 2007 a San Bernardino woman sued the County of San Bernardino when she was injured in a motorcycle accident and sustained major head and neck injuries – after heavy rains.

Bad weather may have led to her motorcycle accident.  She blamed the accident on dangerous road conditions.  At the time of the accident heavy rains had washed out part of the road, leaving a dangerous trench.  The crash occurred before road crews were able to make repairs.

A fact to remember:  When it is raining, you have much less traction when you are riding on roadways that are covered with water. Reports indicate that you have only two tires to make contact with the road and your motorcycle weighs much less than an average automobile, giving you less pressure on the tires to make contact with the road.

An accident involving a motorcycle usually results in a severe injury and sometimes death.  If you have suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident, it is important that you seek medical attention and the legal advice of an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who will explain the process, what you are facing and your next steps in moving forward.

In a city like San Bernardino, more and more people are using buses as a means of transportation, especially with gas prices being so high and it allows them to avoid crowded freeways and traffic.

Since using public transportation has become more popular, and the number of passengers has increased, so have the number of bus-related accidents.  Unfortunately, bus accidents happen too often.  In many cases, they involve other motor vehicles or even pedestrians.

Because of the size of the bus, people are more likely to sustain serious, life-threatening injuries.

If you have been injured in a bus accident, you do not want to worry about your financial security.  Contact an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who will help you recover monetary damages for your injuries, medical expenses, and lost wages without stressing over your future well-being.

It is unknown why an SUV with two men traveling on the northbound side of Interstate 15 in San Bernardino crashed into the center divider the other morning.

After the vehicle came to a stop, another SUV crashed into the back end of the first SUV; the impact caused both vehicles to go over the side of the freeway and burst into flames.  Firefighters found the dead bodies of both men in the first SUV.

California Highway Patrol officers are investigating to determine what caused this fatal accident to happen – why the first SUV crashed into the center divider and why the second SUV did not stop in time to avoid crashing.  Without this information, they cannot determine who was at fault in the end.

If your loved one is killed in an accident, it would be wise for you to contact an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who can determine if you should file a wrongful death lawsuit against the responsible party and receive compensation for your loss and expenses incurred.

The California Highway Patrol pronounced her dead at the scene shortly after.  They are investigating to determine what caused this fatal accident – Was she tired?  Was there something in the road?  Was there a mechanical defect or tire problems on her vehicle?
