The San Bernardino County Coroner’s office reported that two young children, ages 15 and 6 were killed in an accident near the Nevada state line over the weekend.
According to witnesses, the SUV they were riding in swerved off the road, causing the vehicle to flip several times and land on its wheels about 200 feet from Interstate 15. They were pronounced dead at the scene. The parents were taken by air to a medical center in Las Vegas, where they lived.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating to determine what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle, killing his children. If the investigation determines that there was a malfunction of one of the SUV parts, the parents may be entitled to compensation for their tragic loss.
I hope they contact a San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who is successful in product liability cases and who will investigate their case to see if they are entitled to compensation for their tragic loss.
