The driver of a 32-foot motor home apparently lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a Rialto home’s garage the other afternoon.
The driver was trapped inside the motor home; he sustained injuries - and the home was uninhabitable. Both the Rialto fire department and San Bernardino County fire department worked to make sure the building would not collapse further. Once the driver was rescued, he was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Motor home accidents commonly result in catastrophic injury or wrongful death. The driver and the occupants of this home were very lucky. It is not known what caused the driver to crash into this home – he may have been inexperienced or distracted.
