Sometimes it is safer to climb the steps in a building than take an elevator – ask two women in a near-by city.

Two women are suing a building owner and elevator company after the elevator in his building fell 11 stories and trapped them inside for about an hour even though the fire department responded quickly.  They stated that objects fell all over them.

California law has a two-year statute of limitations to file such a claim.  The women waited until the last day to file their lawsuit.  They are asking for more than $20,000 for medical and therapy costs, and for physical, mental and emotional suffering.

If you are unfortunate to be in an elevator and the ride is anything but smooth, contact an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who will investigate and make sure you are fully compensated for any loss you incur.
